Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in dispensing and processing prescriptions, maintaining accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will assist with inventory, entry of patient and drug information, and coordination of clinical services while upholding company policies and quality standards to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing prescriptions under supervision of Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately in pharmacy systems.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
• Support clerical duties and cash handling as needed.
• Coordinate clinical services and collaboration with healthcare providers.
