ADVOCARE, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care and support providers with clinical and administrative tasks in a physician-owned practice across NJ, PA, and DE. The role emphasizes accurate histories, vital signs, patient prep, and documentation in a patient-centered team environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma, CMA certification, and at least 1 year of clinical or medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supply inventory and equipment upkeep.
• Prepare and disinfect rooms.
• Educate patients and transmit physician instructions.

• Collaborate with care team to ensure seamless patient care.

Certified Medical Assistant Essential Responsibilities:

• Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs
• Prepare patients for examination and assist during exams and procedures
• Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab preparation
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete documentation
• Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, verifying insurance, scheduling, and processing referrals
• Maintain medical supply inventory and perform equipment upkeep
• Prepare and disinfect examination and treatment rooms
• Provide patient education and transmit physician instructions
• Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Certified Medical Assistant Required Skills & Abilities:
