Job summary

Advocare Broomall Pediatrics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our pediatric primary care team in Broomall. The CMA will provide direct patient care, support clinicians, and handle a mix of clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The role requires proficiency in routine procedures, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach. The practice operates 7 days a week including nights, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting is required.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and record patient histories and vital signs.
  • Prepare patients for examination and assist during exams and procedures.
  • Perform point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and lab preparation.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete documentation.
  • Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, verifying insurance, scheduling, and processing referrals.
  • Maintain medical supply inventory and perform equipment upkeep.
  • Prepare and disinfect examination and treatment rooms.
  • Provide patient education and transmit physician instructions.
  • Support compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The CMA is responsible for providing high-quality, direct patient care and supporting healthcare providers through a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities. This role requires proficiency in routine clinical procedures, strong communication skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach for individuals.


Advocare Broomall Pediatrics is a busy Pediatric Primary care office with three locations; West Chester, King of Prussia and Broomall. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you’ll be an integral member of a forward-thinking clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and service in a dynamic healthcare environment. We are open 7 days/week including nights.


Certified Medical Assistant Essential Responsibilities:
