Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist to provide peer support services, advocate for patients, and share information across emergency, outpatient, or inpatient settings. You will help patients articulate recovery goals and guide steps toward those goals, leveraging your recovery experience.

The role requires maintaining recovery, driving for company purposes, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Must possess a current valid driver's license in good standing.
• Self-identify as a current or former patient and maintain healthy recovery.
• Travel up to 50% may be required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in articulating personal goals for recovery.
• Assist patients in determining realistic steps toward recovery.
• Assist patients in identifying barriers to recovery goals.
• Assist patients in identifying personal strengths in daily living and recovery skills.
• Observe and reinforce progress toward recovery goals.
• Attend treatment team meetings as requested to represent patient needs.
