Qualifications

• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist with state licensure preferred.
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
• Experience with Radiology Information System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and labs so information is ready for a licensed practitioner.
• Positions and immobilizes patients to best demonstrate the area of interest.
• Applies radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures with imaging equipment.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post procedure docs.
• Assists with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography; uses aseptic technique.
• Performs timeout per policy.
