Job summary

Mercy Health, a faith-based health system, seeks a Radiology Technologist (Harmonized) for St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. You will perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, ensuring patient safety and procedure accuracy.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and compassionate patient care. The position requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology, potential state licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by state)
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire for some locations)

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient’s clinical history and lab work for licensed practitioner review.
• Positions and immobilizes patient for best view of the area of interest.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verifies informed consent and completes pre/post‑procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures.
