Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s MCC Rx Services is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications in a hospital setting. You will also support inventory control and provide strong customer service to patients and staff.

Experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment and certification through PTCB or NHA is preferred. The role is full-time and on-site with extended hours.

Qualifications

• Certification as Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Previous fast-paced pharmacy experience preferred.
• Must be able to handle phone requests and triage calls.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and distribution of medications.
