Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications and providing exceptional customer service within VMG Pharmacy.

You will manage inventory, operate automated dispensing cabinets, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate records and delivering quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a pharmacy technician program and certified.
• Ability to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications.
• Strong customer service and inventory control skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
• Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Managers in accordance with laws and hospital policies.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
