Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in medication preparation, dispensing and distribution. You will handle inventory controls, phone requests, refills, and data entry while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires a PTCB or NHA certification, retail pharmacy experience preferred, and offers a potential hybrid schedule after onboarding. Hours are typically 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA.
• Experience with pharmacy computer systems.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparation, dispensing and/or distribution of medications.
• Apply departmental processes regarding inventory control.
• Follow laws, regulations, and hospital policies as directed by Pharmacists/Pharmacy Managers.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
• Operate computer systems and utilize technology.
