Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners Clinics in Mt Juliet/Hendersonville, TN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to maintain automated dispensing systems and assist in preparing sterile and non-sterile compounds. Proactively maintain automated dispensing systems to ensure seamless, secure medication access for clinical units.
Accurately prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds and repackage medications according to strict CPhT safety standards.
Manage the pharmacyâs lifeblood by overseeing inventory, receiving supplies, and ensuring all stock meets regulatory storage requirements.
Partner with Pharmacists to deliver high-level distributive services and maintain the technical integrity of the pharmacy department.
Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
And One or more of the following Required:
Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
Certified Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy students actively enrolled in a school of pharmacy are not required to have certification/registration.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
