Hy-Vee is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in prescription processing, insurance billing, and customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities include handling prescriptions, maintaining patient data, and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma, national certification, and ongoing CE to keep licensure active; vaccine certification is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed as a pharmacy technician through a national program; maintain CE requirements to keep license active.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines as required by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service with a smile.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and insurance billing.
• Gather and maintain accurate patient information for prescriptions.
• Prepare and label medications and dispense accurate prescriptions.
