Hy-Vee is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in processing prescriptions, handling insurance billing, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

The role requires a high school diploma, current pharmacy technician certification, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA. Vaccination certification may be required where laws permit.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified as a licensed technician through a certified national program required; must maintain CE to keep license active.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products under supervision.
• Process prescriptions, insurance billing, and patient information with confidentiality.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, stock supplies, and log invoices.
• Handle cash transactions and assist with vaccine administration where allowed by law.
