The position requires a high school diploma, a national certified tech license, and ongoing CE. Vaccination certification may be required. Healthcare customer support and inventory tasks are core duties.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified licensed pharmacy technician through a national program; maintain CE requirements.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or clerk preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers with a smile and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Handle inquiries that do not require pharmacist expertise.
• Accept new written prescriptions and telephoned refills per pharmacist discretion.
• Contact doctors for refills as needed.
• Prepare prescriptions for dispensing with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing drug products and labeling.
• Prepare and submit insurance claims; assist with third-party billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Stock pharmacy supplies and log invoices; perform cash transactions.
• Support in other store areas as needed.
