Qualifications

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or clerk preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and greet customers.
• Handle inquiries not requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Process new written prescriptions and refill requests.
• Contact doctors for refills as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient information for prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drugs.
• Label containers and prepare prescriptions for mailing.
• Process insurance claims and assist with third-party billing.
• File dispensed prescriptions and report medication errors.
• Stock pharmacy supplies and log invoices.
• Perform cash transactions accurately.
• Administer vaccines where allowed and certified.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and HIPAA compliance.
• Adhere to pharmacy laws and store policies.
• Work with team to ensure customer satisfaction.
