Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Good communication skills and ability to interpret data.
• Knowledge of compounding, pharmacy math, hospital operations, medical terminology, and drug names.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Adaptable and able to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, perform tasks per policy and procedures.
• Prepare/compound and label a range of pharmacy products for patient use.
• Distribute medications and document the process for proper use and reimbursement.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and dispensing activities.
• Participate in process improvement and associate training as needed.
