RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring an Employment Peer Mentor to empower individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use challenges. The role focuses on strength-based interventions, self-determination, and community integration within a supportive team.

The position requires a Certified Peer Support Specialist in NC or PA, with a preferred 1 year of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license. Pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour and includes benefits for full-time staff.

Qualificações

• Must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist in NC or PA.
• 1 year experience working with individuals with behavioral health issues preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Modeling effective coping and self-help techniques to individuals.
• Providing empowerment skills and support in successful recovery living.
• Assisting individuals in finding resources, advising processes, and encouraging follow-through with proposed resolutions.
• Leading peer support groups with individuals served.
• Supporting/assisting individuals in daily decision making and resolution of minor problems.
• Facilitating social opportunities in the community.
• Sharing personal story of recovery and resilience to instill hope.
