Shifts include Day, Evening and Overnight, with differential pay. Must maintain NC or PA CPSS certification and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote person-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist in NC or PA.
• Experience with mental health or substance use issues preferred.
• Good communication and self-determination facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Modeling effective coping and self-help techniques.
• Providing empowerment skills and support in recovery living.
• Assisting individuals in finding resources and encouraging follow through.
• Leading peer support groups with individuals served.
• Supporting daily decision making and problem resolution.
• Facilitating social opportunities in the community.
• Fostering healthy relationships through community participation.
• Sharing personal recovery story to inspire hope.
