Resources for Human Development (RHD) in Durham, NC, is hiring a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) for the Lednum Transitional Recovery Program (LTRP). The role uses lived experience to support individuals toward greater independence, wellness, and community inclusion.

You will provide peer support, advocacy, and recovery education, helping participants build coping skills, strengthen supports, and engage with community resources. DailyPay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) Certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience in mental health recovery work.

Responsabilités

• Provide individualized peer support and recovery-focused services.

• Encourage engagement in treatment and recovery services.
• Model healthy recovery and wellness strategies.
• Complete required service documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with clinical and program staff to support recovery goals.
