Job summary

PPC Partners Inc. is seeking a payroll compliance professional to manage certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements across projects. The role emphasizes federal, state, and local compliance, audits, and subcontractor reporting.

You will work with project teams to ensure accurate reports, maintain ERP records, and support rate determinations while staying current on wage laws and contract obligations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent required.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Understanding of Davis-Bacon Act/prevailing wage/certified payroll/compliance requirements preferred.
• Must communicate professionally with field staff, office staff, managers and outside vendors/customers.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non-negotiable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced typing for data entry.
• Experience with ADP and IFS is preferred.
• Confidentiality of information is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform, compile, complete documents for submission to various agencies.
• Process certified payroll reports weekly and submit to contractors, owners or Customer Service Specialists.
• Enter certified reports and compliance information into required portals.
• Ensure compliance with DOL prevailing wage requirements and educate project personnel.
• Establish relationships with project managers and owners to facilitate project completion.
• Initiate and maintain new certified jobs in the ERP system.
• Review contracts for compliance requirements and review payrolls on projects.
• Communicate with subcontractors on reporting requirements and rate determinations.
