Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Certified Payroll Clerk in Fresno, CA to support industrial facilities and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on prevailing wage, certified payroll, Davis-Bacon compliance, and related public works requirements, with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

The successful candidate will review subcontractor payroll reports, prepare in-house certified payroll submissions, and coordinate with project teams to meet federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience with certified payroll reporting and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local wage laws and regulations.
• Ability to review subcontractor reports and prepare payroll submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review subcontractor certified payroll reports for compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Prepare and submit accurate in-house certified payroll reports using required software.
• Submit certified payroll documentation through DIR, LCP Tracker, and project systems.
• Prepare pre-job compliance documents (DAS 140 and DAS 142).
• Advise project managers on wage compliance and subcontractor documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to resolve payroll RFIs, audits, and noncompliance.
