Job summary

Banner Health Corporate is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, WY. This PRN position supports inpatient Medical/Surgical care, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, specimens, and patient transport.

The role requires a CNA in state practice, BLS certification, and strong communication. Shifts are 12 hours, with day and night coverage; benefits are provided as part of Banner Health's employment options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice is required for new hires and transfers.
• Depending on department assignment, receive a minimum passing score of 85% on ECG interpretation test.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and contribute to the plan of care.
• Record and communicate patient data and progress in the medical record.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility.
• Perform procedures and assist with specimens, EKGs and monitors as directed.
• Support reception and clerical duties to maintain department flow.
