Winland Foods, Inc. is hiring a Certified Packaging Team Member / Machine Operator - 1st Shift in Buckner, KY. The role runs Monday-Thursday with Friday OT, 6:00a-4:30p, at 1 Quality Place.

You will operate packaging lines, perform changeovers, and ensure product labeling and packaging meet quality standards. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year in manufacturing, forklift certification (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level). willingness to obtain certification if not held.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, forklifts).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address issues quickly.
• Perform routine operation checks and daily inspections.
• Inspect products for labeling, alignment, and packaging.
• Follow FIFO inventory methods and record shipments in SAP.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; follow GMP/HACCP/SQF/FSMA.
