Job summary

Winland Foods is hiring a Certified Packaging Team Member for the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) at 1 Quality Place, Buckner, KY. The role focuses on safe, efficient packaging, with responsibilities ranging from operating packaging machinery to quality checks and inventory control.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and forklift certification is preferred for advanced levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, fillers, case packers, box machines, unscramblers, etc.).
• Inspect products for labeling, alignment, and packaging; record shipments in SAP.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies; maintain sanitation after changeovers.
• Assist team members and provide training; support multiple roles and shift coverage.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and report issues to supervisors; track inventory transactions and quality results in SAP.
