Winland Foods in Buckner, KY, is seeking a Certified Packaging Team Member for the 2nd shift (6:00am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri). You will operate, monitor, and maintain packaging lines at 1 Quality Place, ensuring safety and product quality.

The role requires High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification, and proficiency with SAP. You’ll work in a fast-paced team, supporting continuous improvement and strict food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on production line equipment.
• Proficiency in SAP and basic computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, fillers, case packers, box machines, unscramblers).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address operational issues quickly.
• Perform routine operation checks and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect products for correct labeling, alignment, and packaging.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies.
• Record inventory transactions and quality results in SAP.
• Assist in training and provide backup coverage as needed.
