Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. is seeking a Certified Packaging Team Member for the 3rd shift at Buckner, KY. You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, monitor processes, and ensure quality packaging for consumer products.

The role requires strong teamwork, adherence to GMP/SQF/FSMA, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior packaging experience and forklift certification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not held.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on packaging line equipment.
• Perform changeovers and address issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Inspect products for correct labeling and packaging; ensure proper FIFO handling.
