Winland Foods, Inc. is hiring a Packaging Team Member to operate, monitor, and maintain packaging equipment on the 1st shift at our Buckner facility. You will help ensure products are labeled correctly, meet quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, SQF, and FSMA policies. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, and be ready to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, fillers, case packers, box machines, unscramblers, etc).
• Perform routine operation checks, daily inspections and preventive maintenance, and address issues quickly.
• Follow FIFO inventory methods, manage materials, and record shipments in SAP.
• Maintain proper sanitation after changeovers and ensure food safety compliance.
