Job summary

Winland Foods is seeking a Certified Packaging Team Member for the 2nd shift on the traditional line. You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, ensure accurate labeling, and monitor production quality.

You’ll work closely with teammates to meet safety standards and production targets in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year of relevant experience, and forklift certification (preferred for advanced levels).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, fillers, case packers, box machines, unscramblers).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address operational issues quickly.
• Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep Packaging flowing.
• Perform routine operation checks and daily inspections; maintain sanitation after changeovers.
• Inspect products for correct labeling, alignment, and packaging; manage inventory and record shipments in SAP.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies.
• Assist team members, provide training, and support multiple roles as needed.
• Record inventory transactions and participate in 5S improvements.
