Job summary

Winland Foods in Buckner, KY is hiring a Certified Packaging Team Member / Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm). You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, monitor quality, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement across the line.

The role offers a robust benefits package and a salary of $24.02 per hour with shift differential. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of manufacturing or food production experience, and forklift certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery and perform changeovers.
• Complete equipment checks and routine maintenance.
• Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep packaging flowing.
• Inspect products for correct labeling and packaging.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA and sanitation policies.
• Record inventory transactions and report issues.
• Provide backup coverage and training to team members.
