Winland Foods, Inc. is seeking a Certified Packaging Team Member / Machine Operator for the 1st shift at our Buckner, KY site.

The role involves operating packaging lines, ensuring product labeling accuracy, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will use SAP, IQS, MII and Weaver for production tracking and quality control, with opportunities to advance through training and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on packaging line equipment (cartoners, baggers, case packers, sealers).
• Experience with SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Operate basic packaging machinery and perform changeovers.
• Inspect labeling, alignment, and packaging for quality; follow FIFO methods.
• Record shipments and quality results in SAP.
• Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation; follow GMP/SQF/FSMA and safety policies.
• Provide training and cover multiple roles as needed.
