Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. is hiring a Certified Packaging Team Member / Machine Operator for the 3rd shift in Buckner, KY. You’ll operate packaging equipment, monitor line performance, ensure correct labeling, and support quality checks to meet safety standards.

Schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 10:00pm–6:30am, at 1 Quality Place, Buckner, KY 40010. Pay is $24.02/hour plus shift differential; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level); willingness to obtain.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic packaging machinery (depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, fillers, case packers, box machines, unscramblers).
• Complete equipment changeovers and address issues quickly.
• Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver to keep Packaging flowing.
• Perform routine operation checks and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure sanitation after changeovers and follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA policies.
• Inspect products for correct labeling and packaging; follow FIFO methods.
• Record inventory transactions and quality results in SAP.
• Provide backup coverage and training to teammates.
• Contribute to 5S initiatives and continuous improvement.
