Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and Illinois OTA licensure.
• Licensed OTA in Illinois (IDFPR).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• 1+ years of work experience as an OTA.

Responsibilities

• Follows the therapist's plan of care and updates daily notes.
• Implements patient-centered, occupation-based treatment plans.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and care team.
• Educates patients, family, and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Documents clearly to support decisions and payer communications.
• Contributes to quality improvement and service delivery.
• Communicates patient progress and discharge planning with the care team.
