Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered, occupation-based therapy across ages. You will implement therapy plans, document progress, and collaborate with families and the care team in central Illinois.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree, active OTA license in Illinois, and BLS certification within 30 days; 1+ year of experience preferred. A sign-on bonus is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) required (IDFPR Illinois).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in OT aide/OTA role.

Responsibilities

• Follow the therapist's plan of care; adjust treatment based on patient response.
• Implement patient-centered, occupation-based interventions.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and team throughout therapy process.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff using effective methods.
• Document clearly to support decisions and payer needs.
• Contribute to quality of service delivery and patient progression.
