Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field, upon hire.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (TX), upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR), within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatments to patients under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Instructs and supervises rehabilitation technicians and student affiliates.
• Maintains accurate medical records and completes reports timely.
• Fosters communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Provides patient and family education on outside resources.
• Promotes health care outcomes following clinical practice guidelines.
