Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our therapy team in Alvin, Texas. You will collaborate with the supervising OT to deliver patient-centered care and document treatments in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license in practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Treats patients as directed by the occupational therapist.
• Records treatments given in medical record.
• Participates in patient care conferences and weekly rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicates with supervising therapist, rehab director and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Participates in facility in-service training programs.
• Records daily treatments and labor according to corporate procedure and state occupational therapy rules.
