Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in The Villages (Oxford, FL) seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN/As Needed coverage. You will work under an OT to provide therapy to patients with complex needs and contribute to individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Treating patients with complex needs under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Conducting individual therapy regimens.
• Monitoring patient responses and modifying treatment as needed.
• Completing documentation per department policies.
• Participating in continuing education and in-services.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Occupational Therapist, you will be treating patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
