Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Davenport is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled therapy to patients with complex needs under OT supervision. This PRN/per diem role offers weekday shifts and a $40.00 per hour compensation, with opportunities for advancement and a strong orientation program.

The role emphasizes documentation, ongoing education, and collaboration with the OT team to support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within 90 days of employment as per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Occupational Therapist, you will be treating patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses.
• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
