Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in The Villages (Oxford, FL) seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN/As Needed coverage. You will work under an OT to provide therapy to patients with complex needs and contribute to individualized treatment plans.

The role includes a thorough orientation, opportunities for advancement, and benefits supporting work-life balance. Part-time/Per Diem positions are eligible for 401k after 1,000 hours; compensation is $35.00/hr.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS certification or completion within first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Treating patients with complex needs under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Conducting individual therapy regimens.
• Monitoring patient responses and modifying treatment as needed.
• Completing documentation per department policies.
• Participating in continuing education and in-services.

Education
