Job summary

Edenbrook Pine Haven in Pine Island, MN is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN roles to support post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver therapeutic interventions and ensure safe, high-quality care for residents.

The role requires an active Minnesota COTA license and a degree from an accredited program, with strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota COTA license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Communicates with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
