Job summary

Eden Senior Care’s Edenbrook Sheboygan facility is hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services. The role involves assisting the Occupational Therapist, communicating resident progress, and instructing families and staff in maintenance programs.

The COTA must hold a Wisconsin license in good standing and have an accredited COTA degree. Prior experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is preferred; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin COTA license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and team members; educate resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Provide treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Instruct families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Communicate with supervisor and interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
