Job summary

Whispering Pines, a skilled nursing facility in the Eden Senior Care Network, is now hiring a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services. Active Wisconsin COTA license in good standing and a degree from an accredited COTA program are required.

Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills; experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Provides treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Instructs families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Communicates with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
