Job summary

Edenbrook Pine Haven, a Eden Senior Care, LLC facility, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN roles. You will work under the Occupational Therapist to deliver patient care in post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care.

You will relay progress to the supervisor and educate families and staff on programs. Ideal candidates hold a Minnesota COTA license, have a degree from an accredited program, and demonstrate strong communication, documentation, and

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota COTA license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Experience in skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct resident's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Provide treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Instruct families and staff in maintenance programs as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Communicate with supervisor and other interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
