Job summary

Community LIFE in McKeesport, PA, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/L) to provide in-home and in-center therapy to older adults, helping them maintain independence with ADLs and IADLs. A treatment plan from OT/L guides your interventions.

The role runs Mon-Fri daylight 7:30am-4:00pm with every other Saturday and mileage reimbursement at the federal rate. Requirements include OTA/L program completion and PA licensure.

Qualifications

• Successful OTA/L program completion approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum of one year working with the frail or elder population.
• Current PA OTA licensure and valid PA Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and in-center therapy for older adults as prescribed by the OT/L.
• Support independence in ADL/IADL, ROM, and strength exercises per treatment plan.
• Record progress and maintain documentation according to clinical standards and policies.

About this position

Summary: Our COTA provides in-home and in-center therapy for older adults on an ongoing basis in an effort to help regain or maintain their abilities to remain independent with ADL's and IADL's, range of motion, strength and interventions established by a treatment plan from the OT/L. This is a Mon-Fri daylight (7:30am-4:00pm) position, plus every other Saturday - (with flex weekday off). Mileage reimbursement is provided at the federal rate.

Required Licensure/Certifications
