Job summary

A dedicated elder care program in Homestead is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide in-home and in-center therapy for older adults. This full-time role focuses on helping older adults maintain independence with daily living activities. Candidates must have completed an OTA/L program, possess current PA licensure, and demonstrate clinical competency. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and in-center therapy for older adults.

• Work in a daylight position from Mon-Fri (7:30am-4:00pm).

Summary: Our COTA provides in-home and in-center therapy for older adults on an ongoing basis in an effort to help regain or maintain their abilities to remain independent with ADL’s and IADL’s, range of motion, strength and interventions established by a treatment plan from the OT/L. This is a Mon-Fri daylight (7:30am-4:00pm) position. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the federal rate.

Required Education: Successful OTA/L program completion approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Required Experience: Minimum of one year working with the frail or elder population.

Required Licensure/Certifications

• Current OTA licensure issued by the state of PA.
