Job summary

Community LIFE is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/L) to deliver in-home and center-based therapy for older adults in Rostraver, PA. The role follows OT/L treatment plans to help maintain independence in daily activities, mobility, and strength, with mileage reimbursement for travel.

The position is a daytime Mon-Fri role, with competitive benefits and the opportunity to support seniors in their homes and community-day centers.

Qualifications

• Successful OTA/L program completion approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum of one year working with the frail or elder population.
• Current PA OTA licensure.
• Valid PA Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and in-center therapy to older adults as per the treatment plan.
• Help regain or maintain independence in ADL/IADL, ROM, and strength.
• Document progress and coordinate with the OT/L to adjust treatment plans.
• Travel to patients’ homes with mileage reimbursement.

About this position

Summary: Our COTA provides in-home and in-center therapy for older adults on an ongoing basis in an effort to help regain or maintain their abilities to remain independent with ADL’s and IADL’s, range of motion, strength and interventions established by a treatment plan from the OT/L. This is a Mon-Fri daylight (7:30am-4:00pm) position. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the federal rate.

Required Licensure/Certifications
