Job summary

Tallgrass Healthcare Campus is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inhouse rehabilitation team. You’ll work across skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient settings, helping residents regain independence and improve daily function.

Qualifications

• Active state COTA license or certification required.
• Strong clinical skills and understanding of therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to work collaboratively under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatment interventions per individualized plans of care.
• Treat residents in skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient settings.
• Communicate resident progress, concerns, and recommendations to the OT.
• Apply therapeutic techniques appropriate to each resident’s needs.
• Participate in care plan meetings when requested by Rehab leadership.
• Document treatment notes, progress notes, and input for discharge summaries.
• Complete daily billing and documentation per facility policy.
• Adhere to state practice acts, ethics, and company policies.
• Support a team-based approach focused on safe, resident-centered care.

What You’ll Do as a COTA

In this role, you’ll help support and deliver highquality occupational therapy services while working closely with our licensed Occupational Therapists and rehab leadership.

• Provide OT treatment interventions in accordance with individualized plans of care developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Treat residents in skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient settings
• Communicate resident progress, concerns, and recommendations to the Occupational Therapist
• Apply therapeutic techniques appropriate to each resident’s functional needs
• Participate in care plan meetings when requested by the Director of Rehabilitation
• Document treatment notes, progress notes, and provide objective input for discharge summaries
• Complete daily billing and documentation per facility policy and regulatory standards
• Adhere to state practice acts, professional ethics, and company policies
• Support a teambased approach focused on safe, effective, residentcentered care
