Job summary

Tallgrass Healthcare Campus is seeking a caring Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You’ll work across skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient therapy, providing meaningful care that helps residents regain independence.

You’ll collaborate with licensed Occupational Therapists and rehab leadership, delivering OT interventions and documenting progress while adhering to facility policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Active state COTA license or certification is required.
• Strong clinical skills and understanding of therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to work under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Desire to be part of an in-house rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatment interventions as per plans of care created by the Occupational Therapist.
• Treat residents across skilled nursing, assisted living, and outpatient settings.
• Communicate resident progress, concerns, and recommendations to the OT.
• Apply therapeutic techniques suited to each resident’s needs.
• Participate in care plan meetings with Rehab leadership as requested.
• Document treatment notes and discharge summaries with objective input.
