Job summary

Right at Home in Ormond Beach, FL is seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support a senior client about 30 hours per week. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, and home support with a warm, reliable approach in a home setting.

Ideal candidates have caregiving experience, strong communication, and a caring demeanor. Training is provided, and weekly pay is offered in a flexible schedule to fit your needs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Help with transferring/moving client within the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, dusting, floors, dishes, laundry, bathroom).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving; provide medication reminders.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and dementia care.
• Provide companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are seeking a compassionate caregiver in the Ormond Beach area to assist a veteran client approximately 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate enjoys cooking, provides excellent companionship, and is dedicated to creating a supportive and positive environment. Experience with caregiving is preferred, along with a warm personality, reliability, and strong communication skills.

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
