Job summary

Interim HealthCare of NE Florida is seeking a Home Health Aide/Caregiver in DeLand, FL to help seniors live safely at home. You’ll provide personal care, assist with daily activities, and offer companionship.

Qualified candidates have a CNA or HHA certificate, CPR, and a Florida driver’s license. The role offers competitive pay ($19–$22/hr), 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for online training and CEUs.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA or HHA certification and CPR.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Florida driver’s license and transportation available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation, companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition; notify supervisor as needed.
• Maintain a safe home environment and unobstructed pathways; engage clients in activities for joy.
