Job summary

Novant Health seeks a Nurse Aide I to assist patients with daily living activities and maintain a safe, clean environment under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes documenting care and reporting changes in status to the Charge Nurse, with responsibilities in assisted living units as applicable.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED; completion of the NA I program and current NA I registry listing are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year preferred.
• One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Completion of NAI program, required.
• Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
• Medication Safety - AME, required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire, required.
