Job summary

Novant Health's Community Hospital of Stokes in Danbury, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA 1 for a part-time day shift (7am-3pm). You will support patients with daily living activities and help maintain a safe, clean environment under RN supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in assisted living, completion of NAI program, and being listed as NA I on the nurse aide registry. Basic computer skills and medication safety responsibilities are also noted.

Qualifications

• Completion of NAI program required.
• Listed with the nurse aide registry as NA I required.
• Medication Safety - AME required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assisted Living units only: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living as scheduled and reporting any change in status to the Charge Nurse.

What You\'ll Do

What We\'re Looking For

• Experience: 1 year of experience in Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required.

• Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
• Medication Safety - AME, required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
